1993 F250 4x4 XLT Standard cab
Classic OBS F250. Rust-free! I have alot of underbody pictures also. Very straight body. The paint is original. Clear title in my name. Very solid OBS truck. It's nice to see cool standard cabs out there. Everything is crew cab now for the most part. My first pickup was a standard cab 1967 ford 4x4. Back in the day, everyone drove standard cabs. I didn't know one person with a crew cab lol. Below are all the details. I only accept wire transfer or Cashiers check. I don't accept carmel.
Exterior:
The body on the truck is very nice. It is very straight and has NO rust-through, and has nothing even close to rust-through. No bubbling or anything like that anywhere. There is one dent in the hood. The paint isn't perfect but should buff out nicely. The doors, hood and tailgate operate properly. The glass is all good, with excepetion of the windshield that is cracked. The front bumper is not bent but needs adjusted. A rear bumper will be mounted on it. The parts in the front seat and the back of the pickup aren't included. The pics tell the story.
Interior:
I have a better bench seat that can go in it, but it doesn't have the fold down armrest. The interior has the usual wear. I'm sure the carpet is cleanable, but may be easier to replace it. windows and locks work. Pretty basic standard cab. Dash is in good shape. The interior doesn't stink.
Mechanical:
This pickup has the 460 V8, with 4-speed overdrive automatic. When I got the truck, it ran and drove. I just drove it around my property enough to see that all the gears worked, and that the 4-high and 4-low worked properly. The transmission didn't slip. The engine sounded good and didn't smoke. I am a mechanic. There was no ticking or knocking. There's no oil in the water, or water in the oil. No overheating issues. After running it the first time, I went back months later to start it and the starter sticks on. I changed the solenoid, and that didn't fix the problem so it's something screwed up in the starter. The pic of the engine has black stuff around on the front area. It's not oil. The previous owner sprayed massive amounts of belt conditioner on the belt lol. I'm assuming it was squeeling and he wasn't going to stop with that belt conditioner until he fixed it. He sprayed it on while running, which threw it all over the place. It will need minor mechanical work to get it going, but needs no major mechanical work. The engine, transmission, transfer case, and axles are fine. I haven't had time to work on this pickup, and I have two other projects in my shop, so I decided to sell this one.
I PREFER WIRE TRANSFER for payment. I may accept cashiers check under certain specific requirements. The check would need to be sent the first business day after the auction ends, and sent with overnight UPS or Fedex. I do not accept or use caramel.
This classic ford is sold as-is. I can help arrange shipping if needed.
